Social media is one of the major parts of human life in this world. When we compare it with the years ago it’s a super crazy trend that started around 10 to 15 years before and exploded, on social networks like Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, and Pinterest. On these platforms, people sharing their thoughts on anything sometimes causes serious troubles as well for their own lives. When we are talking about social media TikTok is one of the trending social media which based on China is the absolute new trend.

In late 2016 TickTok started as a video-sharing platform and because of its user-friendly sharing capability and the new portrait video trend it exploded within a few days and today, TikTok is the most popular social media that all around the world. After it hit the trend popular social media platforms like Youtube and Facebook also developed their own short-duration video content publishing as well but TikTok already owned the base from the start. These videos can be published minimum duration of 3 seconds to a maximum duration of 60 minutes.
Because of the popularity the algorithm works on automatically trending the videos that most people are watching or interest. using this trend anyone can publish anything on this platform that may be correct or incorrect, and also sometimes be misleading to others. When concerned about these matters The social network also didn’t take any terms or regulations regarding these.
Why is TikTok Banned?
As I mentioned there are various factors that can be identified as causing trouble in getting the App has been banned in the US.

- Security concern
These are the actual major factors that caused this trouble, With this ban 7,000 US employees currently working on TikTok faced real trouble of their fate.

Is the US the only country that Banned TikTok?
If you notice the given availability map of this social media network you can identify already TikTok has been banned in India. Not only the TikTok app over 58 Chinese apps have been banned around India as well because of security concerns in 2020.
